Fawn came back to Strawberry Mountain after her adopters started a "so-called" rescue in Clark County, Washington and tried to starve her to death under the watchful eye of Clark County's Board of Commissioners and Animal Control over the course of several months. Fawn has been adopted to a long time supporter of Strawberry Mountain Mustangs. - Adopted -

Reno came back to Strawberry Mountain after his adopters started a "so-called" rescue in Clark County, Washington and mistreated this loving guy by allowing him to get rainrot so badly that his back is permanently scared and he now has white spots on his rump, he was also very thin. This all happened under the watchful eye of Clark County's Board of Commissioners and Animal Control over the course of many months. - Available -

Asia came in in very poor condition. Her previous owners admitted to not feeding them ANYTHING for several days. It was obvious that this had gone on for quite some time. The picture is from June 2008 and she looks terrific compared to when we got her. Asia will have her own page on our rehab page very soon. - Rehab -

Liberty came from the same home as Asia above. He was in worse shape than she was. Truth is he was days from death. Liberty's organs had already started to shutdown, but he still continued to push food to Asia to eat. Liberty will have his own page on our rehab page soon. - Rehab -

Here's Mac...there are alot of people that already know and love Mac. Mac came to us with a horrific injury last year and he is recovering very well. You can see Mac's story by clicking on the following link Mac's Page - Available -

Jessie came to us from eastern Oregon where his front right hoof was injured. Jessie had a full hoof removal and then got and infection and had half the hoof taken off again, this is when we took in Jessie. Jessie will have his own page on our rehab page soon. - Rehab -

Bandit is a 3 to 5 year old mustang stallion from the Paiute Reservation near Reno, Neveda. Bandit appears to be outgoing, playful and should be easy to gentle. He will be available for adoption after gentling, gelding and vaccinations. - Available -

Andy came to us from a neglect case in Lane County. He was to be "put down" because there was no where for him to go. He is a very sweet boy. He is available for adoption, however, he will not leave Strawberry Mountain until he is gelded. Adoption fee is $300 - Available -

Jewel came to us from her previous owner. Jewel is broke to ride. Adoption fee is $600 - Available -

Titan is a 3 to 5 yr old mustang stallion from the Paiute Reservation near Reno. We jokingly call Titan the "Drama Queen" because he is so animated. Titan is a beautiful tri-color pinto with a long flowing forelock and mane. He will be available after gelding and vaccinations. - Available -

Sarge is an 11 yr old TB gelding who came to us through Animal Control. Sarge is close to 17 hands, so if tall is your thing, here's your boy! Sarge has been gaining weight, has had his feet and teeth done, has been treated for rain rot and has been vaccinated. We are in the process of researching Sarge's tattoo to find out more about this handsome boy. Sarge is broke to ride, however, due to osselots and calcification in one ankle, we would recommend light riding on flat ground only. Adoption fee $300.00 - Available -

Elenya (aka Ellie) is 4 yr old, she is solid black with a star. She is outgoing and confident, but still has only had minimal handling at this point. - Adopted - Congratulations Nan!! -

Reno is a 15 yr old plus stallion. One of the most unusual color patterns we've ever seen - Reno appears to be a red roan pinto with a silver gene that gives a wonderful shimmer to his coat. WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE!!!! Reno's new home is a 5000 acre WILD HORSE SANCTUARY in Shingletown, California. www.wildhorsesanctuary.org Reno will be gelded and released where he can run out his days as a wild and free mustang.

Flash is a 4 year old Mustang gelding from the Sheldon Antelope Refuge in Neveda. Flash is very kind hearted and very lovable. We believe Flash was crowded during the gather and crushed his shoulder. He is not in pain but he will never be sound and will never be ridden - Flash will be a pasture pet only - Available, needs forever home -

Whiskey is stout beautifully built little gelding. Whiskey needs a confident, patient home to work him through some fear issues. He is UTD on all shots, worming and farrier work. Adoption fee $200.00 - Available -
