Strawberry Mountain Mustangs, Inc. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the care, adoption, and rehabilitation of all large and small animals. We provide education, training and assistance to our adopters to assure that our animals go to the best possible homes. But we're not limited to Mustangs! We're still "under construction" so please be patient and check back often! Can you help? WILL YOU HELP? So many people tell us "we wish we could do what you're doing." Well - YOU ARE. By visiting this site, you are willing to give a rescued animal another chance at life. By adopting or donating, YOU provide much needed vet or farrier care and/or feed & supplements. Our volunteers give us that time to "get away", to spend time with our own animals, or just some much needed down time. Our wish list includes: HAY, GRAIN, SUPPLEMENTS, WORMER, BEDDING (SHAVINGS, ETC.), HORSE SAFE PANELS, SMOOTH WIRE FENCING, WOOD POSTS, AND OF COURSE CASH. As you can tell from our rehab page, vet bills can be astronomical. There are so many ways you can help. Don't be limited to our list above. Hear our humble prayer, O God, for our friends the animals. Especially for animals who are suffering, for animals that are overworked, underfed, cruelly treated: for all wistful creatures in captivity that beat their wings against bars. For any that are hunted and lost or deserted or frightened or hungry, for all that must be put to death. We entreat for them all the mercy and pity, and for those who deal with them we ask a heart of compassion and gentle hands and kindly words.
